What is hashing? Hash began in Kuala Lumpur founded by an Englishman, A.S. Gispert in 1938 and has ever since spread all over the world like mushrooms. One or more persons (called the hares) lay a runners' / walkers' trail marked by shredded paper around a picturesque country side. Each Wednesday we have a different location. The runners/walkers (called the hounds) follow the hares' trail and get back to the point where they started which is about an hour. This is followed by a social get together where drinks and food is provided. We are a good mix of Expats and Sri Lankan crowd and it is a great opportunity to meet fun loving people. We welcome young and old! So join us every Wednesday for a run/walk and enjoy the evening. When: Every Wednesday at 5.30p.m. Where: You will be informed by email with directions to the run site, once you contact us. Please check our homepage for further details. Membership fee: Rs. 2000/-. |
